WHAT IS THE BULLDOG 762?
Firearms enthusiast are familiar with the term Bullpup rifle, all Bullpups are .22 caliber and most are notorious for crummy triggers, really crummy triggers. We took the legendary M-14 rifle and its 7.62x51 NATO cartridge, famous for it's reliability, ruggedness, short and long range accuracy. Our "BullDog762" is drop-in replacement stock system for the M-14 or M1A. Our trigger mechanism and safety feels just like the M-14 two stage trigger with a stock that shortens the rifle 12 inches without any ballistic sacrifice.
WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED TO MAKE THE BULLDOG 762?
We use Aircraft grade T-6 6061 aluminum and 4140 chromoly. All parts are machined from solid billet.
WILL THE BULLDOG 762 FIT ANY M-14?
The BullDog 762 stock system will fit all M-14 (Military Version Select Fire) and the M1A (civilian version) semi-auto rifles. The only difference is the cheek panel has a slot for the M-14 selector switch. It will also fit Norincos, some small modification is required by the installer. Installation time 15 Minutes.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT DOES THE BULLDOG 762 ADD?
The complete system (stock and optics mount) adds 1.5 pounds to the original M-14 configuration.
DO I LOSE ANYTHING IN BALLISTICS?
None! Zero! Nada!
HOW MUCH DOES THE BULLDOG 762 SHORTEN MY RIFLE?
It shortens your original M-14 / M1A by 12 inches.
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL TOOLS TO INSTALL THE BULLDOG 762?
All tools are included in the kit.
WILL MY WEAPON FIT BACK IN THE ORIGINAL STOCK?
In about 20 minutes, but after you shoot the BullDog762, you will forget about the wood or synthetic stock. If you could make a B-52 look and perform like a F-22 Raptor, would you put it back? NAAH!
WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDIUM / HEAVY WEIGHT BARREL?
When you order you will be talking to one of our staff, we will ask which barrel you have, the Med & Heavy weight barrel require a different front mount for the "Barrel Housing Optics Rail Mount" (BHORM).
DOES THE BULLDOG 762 COME WITH EVERTHING I NEED TO START SHOOTING?
You will need three things: Shooter, Optics / BUIS (Back Up Iron Sights), ammo. Oh. one more thing... A place to Shoot!!
CAN I USE A DIFFERENT PISTOL GRIP, BIPODS, FRONT GRIP?
The rear / fixed pistol grip can be replaced with most M-16 / AR-15 grips. The system comes with a forward pistol grip adjustable up to six inches, four inches when you use the folding bipods also included.
DOES THE BULLDOG 762 IMPROVE ACCURACY?
If your rifle is holding one MOA it will continue to do so. The neoprene bedding system is tunable / adjustable to your rifle, we suggest you put it together and familiarize yourself with the BullDog762 first. Then spend some time bedding it in with the neoprene inserts.
